Dr. Joseph T. Kim

Dr. Joseph T. Kim, DC, F.I.A.M.A., was born in South Korea and raised in Dallas, Texas. His mission is to accelerate healing to maximize function and performance of the body by positive quality care, to obtain optimal health and proactive lifestyle, and to restore health through natural chiropractic care, allowing his patients to live their lives to the fullest.

First, majoring in computer science and biochemistry at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, Dr. Kim then enrolled at the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic in 1996, and graduated in 2000 after 4 years of intensive program as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

As a chiropractic student, he extended his studies by completing over 100 hours of training in Applied Kinesiology. He also completed the training in Acupuncture and received a fellowship in the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

His experiences have given him a great opportunity to learn to care for a wide variety problems from which his patients may suffer and has included travel on a chiropractic mission trip to a Native American reservation in New Mexico to provide chiropractic service to the indigenous community.

Dr. Kim practiced in both Texas and California before moving his family to South Korea where he provided care from 2010-2015. Passion for Jesus Christ and prayerful longing led them back to the United States to Champaign, Illinois, where he currently practices. He and his wife, Jen, have three children.
